Hotel

We have reserved rooms at the Best Western Fairfax Hotel at 3535 Chain Bridge Road in Fairfax, VA for those who are not from the area. DE project-funded TIMES Fellows will have rooms there (taken care of by us) and we suggest DE self-funders stay at that hotel as well. The hotel is located 1.5 miles from Fairfax High School (3501 Rebel Run, Fairfax, VA), where the workshop will be held. See below for booking a room if you are self-funded DE participant.

Reservations must be made before Tuesday, June 13, 2017. You may make reservations online or by phone.

Payment Requirements: A credit card is required to hold a reservation. If you intend to also pay with the card that is holding the reservation, you must have it with you at check-in. A credit card authorization is required to pay with a card that will not be present at check-in. To arrange for a credit card authorization, contact Sandra.

The room-rate is $109.00 plus tax (12%) and includes the following:

Full American buffet for up to four in each room every morning (eggs, gravy, pancakes, waffles, meat, potatoes, oatmeal, yogurt, pastries and more…)
Unlimited wi-fi
Cable HD digital TV including HBO
Refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot (with complimentary coffee), ironing board with iron and hair dryer

Check-in and Check-out: Check-in is at 3 pm on the scheduled day of arrival. Check-out is at 12 noon on the scheduled day of departure. Advance notice must be given for early check-in or late check-out. Every effort will be made to accommodate such requests; but, early check-in and late check-out cannot be guaranteed. However, reservations are guaranteed for late arrival.

Best Western Fairfax is a smoke-free and pet-free. Hotel staff are happy to help guests find their way to where they need to go on public transportation.
